Abortion follow up care
Most clinics will give you a
follow-up appointment or recommend that you visit your GP after the abortion.
It is important not to miss a second dose to prevent possible infections. Your
doctor will give you instructions on how to take care of yourself after your
abortion.
Be sure to carefully follow
your doctor's instructions. Periods should resume about 4 to 6 weeks after the
abortion, and be aware that you may become pregnant again shortly after the
abortion.
